Rate Management

The rates are sent up to iQ-WebBook through the OTA/XML Rate Notification and Hotel Booking Rules messages. The information comes directly from the Property Management system and iQ-WorldLink. If the information is not being updated, be sure iQ-WorldLink is running and functioning properly.

There are three types of Online Display Settings:

1. Normal - A rate available to guests in the Hotel Booking Engine, but not Checked when first landing on the booking engine.

2. Common/Popular - A rate available to all guests in the Hotel Booking Engine, and Checked when first landing on the booking engine.

3. Groups - A rate only available to guests who enter a Group Code that has this rate.

The designation of these are handled inside the Property Management System.
